I do. I wish I had someone to help with the baby, and to take my husband off my hands sometimes. I also love women; so It would be great if she was attractive and bisesual as well.

My mother felt the same way about having a "sister" to distribute the duties. One would cook, one would care for the children, one would do the cleaning, one to do the sewing, whatever each wife wanted most to do. Of course the idea of polygamy was not too strange to my mother - her grandfathers practiced it.

But polygamy was really hard to live. It required a great deal of selflessness, sacrifice, and patience. It was difficult for the man to provide for all of the families. It required a level of nobility to live in harmony under those conditions that is beyond that of most of us today.

So, all in all, I'm glad that it is not legal in the United States today.

I do wish that polygamy was still legal. And I also wish that if it were legel, that it would be accepted by society and such. I mean I love my fiance to death, but I have always wandered what it would be like to be married to my best friends guys and girls and everyone just having one big relationship. I think that maybe some people would get along more. Plus I have always thought that genetics were interesting, and have wandered many times what children of mine would look like if their father was my best friend.Because everyone has different features and such. Plus then you could have more help with things around the house, or always have someone there with you. But... yeah I wish it was.

You need to find some guy that thinks like you or join a commune...if they are still around. I've seen some shows about open marriages or relationships and it never seems to work out, with jealousies and all. I think it would be enlightening for it to be YOU sometime, on the outside looking in, just to know how it would feel. It always seems to sound like a good idea until you are the one that is being left out.

I am not really trying to be judgmental here...just realistic. I truly hope that you find your peace eventually.

Ever watch the show Big Love on HBO? After seeing the show I'm glad polygamy isn't legal - I couldn't imagine having to share my hubby with anyone or not being able to spend time with him when I wanted.

Nope do not and dont ever want it to be legal again either. I like one man for one woman the way God intended it to be from the very beginning with Adam and Eve. Much more precious and unique that way and what beautiful treasure to hold on to!

Maybe they will repeal the Edmunds law in Utah someday.

ya, I don't care if she's bi, but gosh it would be nice - more help around the house, maybe another paycheck coming in, another caregiver for the kids... why not? Seems so sensible.

I think it would be fabulous. An extra income, more help around the house, very interesting bedtimes.... all good!

No I don't. And while it may be illegal, it's still practiced everywhere, with a concentration in Utah. You can relocate there and be tolerated.
