I havent been here long but a lot of teh answers that I have seen are really rude! there isnt a reason for it, even if you do ask a really stupid question you dont have to be a COMPLETE jerk about it, a little sarcastic maybe but not out and out rude... I agree with the idea that Yahoo didnt want this to turn into a chat room/message board. They kinda wnat it to be a massive think-tank, I think...

It sure would!! I had asked a question about one of my cats and someone told me I was a bad pet owner for letting my cats go outside and for not getting them spayed sooner!! I was sooooooooooo upset by this! I wish I could have e-mailed the person to answer them personally without adding details so everyone else can see what I am saying directly to this person, or deleted their answer, but there is no way I know of.

I give you a high five --- YES you are right. Have you noticed that those people who do that - if you click on their name - they are not open in here for email to them. They can dish it out but they can't take it!!! I asked this a.m. about if anyone watched Dateline last night and this guy was like "if you don't like what's going on, quit crying about it and try to fix it" --- well...something close. I was just freaked by HOW MANY sexual predators that were out there. Most other people are too and this guy was an A**. Of course, maybe HE IS one - ya never know!!!

Yes, some people give answers that are very unhelpful, and often rude. We should be able to remove or at least respond to their answers as the asker, as many people answer for simply getting more points.

Yes, indeed. Sometimes, however, you have to admit that some of the questions are pretty stupid... Kind of makes you want to answer in a sarcastic manner. But here we are...
