im thinking of having the gastric bandding (LAPBANDING) I KNOW WHATS INVOLVED BUT it does mean ID HAVE to give up apple juice and certain other things, should i go for it. yes or no. ad read adjust again to slowly digesting soft foods like baby food and things i couldnt have again.

That is something only you can decide for yourself. I'd make sure you weigh out all of your other options first. It's not only a dangerous procedure, but wow a lifelong diet change. Always make sure you're fully informed and go to a highly recommended physician that checks out in every regard. I would suggest you begin reading up alot on this topic.

I wouldn't do it and I know a lot of people who wouldn't. It's really dangerous and besides that who likes eating baby food. But if you feel the need to do it just make sure you know ALL the side effects and aftermath of it all.

Why not try cutting your meals down to what you would have to with surgery (balanced of course) and do it without surgery. It might turn out to be a big pain, or else it will work.
