As long as she is feeling a few times a day she should be fine it is when there is a change in frequency that she should get checked out. Near the end of my pregnancy I wasn't getting much movement so I had to get a bunch of tests but everything was fine.

as long as the baby moves and only if there ae little kicks thats great there are no set kicks a baby should give it when your wife dosent feel any for a few days is when you need to let the dr know just to make sure it ok to have fewwer kicks at the end before you have that wonderful bundle of joy

I don't think you can depend on a certain number per day at a given point in her pregnancy. It would all depend on how much caffeine she's had, how active she might have been, and whether the baby is awake or sleeping or whatever. I knew one mother that was getting kicked so often, she named the unborn baby "Thumper".

If she gets kicked now and then, then just be happy, and wait only a little longer.

Every baby is just as active or inactive as it wants to be. Your wife could feel a hundred kicks by lunch, or feel ten kicks in her total pregnancy.

At least one every hour. Some hours have more some hours have none. But the average should be one per hour. So a total of 24 in a 24 hour period.

As many as the baby feels like giving her. As long as there is some movement in there, I wouldn't worry about how many kicks.

My doctor told me that I should have felt my daughter kick atleast once every 8 hours. But don't worry unless she is NEVER feeling the baby move.

There is no set amount, and you shouldn't even be worrying about that. It just depends on how "active" the baby is. Some baby's are "born kickers", and others hardly move at all. If you are worried, ask her doctor. There are NO stuipd questions to ask them, that IS what you pay them big bucks for!

When I was pregnant my son never kicked and I was often worried. The doctor often had me come in to monitor him; and everything was always fine. Now he is 2 and never sits still. I think he was just saving his energy for now!
