I bought the dvd of the first movie & tried to watch it - after all, I've read all the books & loved them!! - but I fell asleep trying to watch the dvd. I haven't tried to see the other parts & I never finished the first one!

Loved the first (Fellowship of the ring) was so-so on rhe second (The two towers) The last one (The Return of the King) is one of my all time favorite movies.
