Maybe it's cuz I'm new to this whole question/answer thing, but it seems that most of us are here to have fun and find others like us, but there also seems to be a lot of folks out there who act as though we're some kind of plagued freaks simply because we express our sexuality? Why come to this catagory if you don't want to hear what we have to say?

It seems to make them feel good about themselves. Dont let it get to you. I honestly couldn't give a flyin f*ck what these people think about us. I'm better than them any day. I'm also nicer looking and so are you!

It's everywhere not just here. There are soooo many people that hate themselves or are just so full of hatred that they must pick on people. They are usually very scared people and talking behind a computer makes them feel big. And if they are always in the catagory they must have some hidden issues and usually hiding behind the bible seems to be a place for all those with deeply seated issues.
I have found some of the worst exuses for human beings in the church ( not all just some of the worst )
I don't express my SEXUALITY; I feel free to express my being who I am. Being a homosexual is always look at as sexual; no more a sexual thing than being hetrosexual. The largest group we as homosexuals have problems with are "christians". So I find it fun to get them where it counts.

Girl, welcome to the gay bashers club of the world!! I've seen more hate and animosity here than I have in a looooong time. Don't let it get to you, though. I felt the same way when I first got on Answers, too. But I have seen serious stupidity and the more I see the funnier it gets to me. Keep in mind that there are some really cool people around Answers and some have some very worthwhile things to say!!!

Some people are a$$holes. Really. It is just that simple.
Some people enjoy being mean to others, scolding others to prop themselves up, and acting like misinformed soul-less b*tches.
They have a first amendment right to be as cruel as they want here, freedom of speech and all, but I can't help but wonder how a human being comes to emotionally profit off causing pain for another. I suppose the fact that I fundamentally don't get it is what makes me not one of them.

It's not just in the LGBT forum, check the immigration link and you'll be surprised all the hating towards Mexicans...it's unbeleivable.
Some of these people bashing on other races, sexuality or religions are just ignorants who have nothing better to do.

hey, its called homphobia. it goes under the category of hate which is an emotion that is taught or learned rather then instinct. people who slam us do not have enough mental enlightment to understand that they have been a victim of this hate that is taught to them. they dont know any better. you should pity them actually. they have no idea that they are puppets in a society that puts us down. they have no idea that they are being controlled against there free will, but they think they are in control because no one is physically making them hate us or dislike us. take pity and forgive. be happy that you were not captured in that web

unfortunately for some people inorder feel good about themselves they have to put someone down. Which doesn't say much about themselves to begin with....and then they are those who are sexually so insecure that they want to own your genitals as well, telling what you should do with them, unfortunately the very same people are so clueless about their own bodies......

Gay and Lesbians should not be grouped with bi's. We don't want anything to do sexually with the opposite sex.
