I dont mean to insult you if you're rich, but why do most rich people think they are better than others just because they have money? I know they can perchase pretty much anything they want but why do they feel that they can treat others like crap? I don't care how rich they are, it's wrong to treat others poorly just because they don't have as much money as you!

The reason that some people think they are better than others is they need to build there self esteem. They need to make themselves feel superior. I know it is mean however
They are the one that have the problem most of the time. Even if you are richer it means you have more money than the average person take the money away and what do you have? the same pitiful person.

I think there is a difference between people that are born rich and have had $$$ in their family for a longtime versus the nouveau rich type of people.
One of my best friends is LOADED.... her family has owned a Billion $ corporation for decades. She was very disciplined as a child and got very good grades (very intelligent), after graduating from college, she got a job with one of the top 5 Business consulting firms in the world on her own. She could've have gone the easy route and worked for the family company, but she works hard for her money and isn't "in-your-face" with her "riches" she is very down to earth and non-judgemental of those less fortunate than herself.
But, unfortunately, I know she is a rare commodity of the rich people on this earth.
Maybe the rich flaunt their $$$ and act like they are better because deep down inside, they are insecure and have a horrible relationship with their loved ones, because it is all based upon money instead of real love.

I GUESS MONEY DOES THAT TO RICH PPL.
i wish there was someway to change the over importance that is given to money......money=power. i think there is a feeling that u can get away with almost anything....
but then again why do ppl giv so much importance to money..?
as long as that prevails ,most of rich ppl will act that way...
not all of them though....definitely not all of them ...

Because they are rich and we aren't..
They have limos, while we schlep with buses and trains and deal with rain and snow..
because they have butlers and house keepers and nanny's to take care of their home and family and we do not...

Well, maybe they ARE better than others. Better at handling large sums, perhaps, or spending large sums.
The more one has (of wealth, usually), the greater is the responsibility of the wealth-holder, to use it wisely and for the betterment of others--at least, not in ways inimical to the well-being of others.
Many rich folks don't behave in the manner you described.
