Actually, they can drive, it's you who can't! They know this so they drive slow knowing you will go around them. And if you don't, they get to sue your parents insurance company as you get to watch your parents insurance evaporate before your very eyes!

because we are older, more responsible, obey the law, don't risk
other peoples lives, pay for our own insurance and tickets, have fewer accidents, live to get old as many of the young drivers don't, cause they are in a big hurry to get nowhere and do nothing, we care about gas usage and it's effect on the price, we want to help get American out from under fuel dependency,
we drive just fine, maybe it is the other people who can't drive, especially the dead ones

Not sure what this has to do with networking but perhaps the problem is that old people have a tendency to obey traffic laws, and that pisses people off that have no respect for the rules of the road!

They have slower reflexes and God forbid you ask them a question while they are driving on the freeway they slow to like 40mph. I wouldn't want to give up my independence just because of age either tho. I always feel bad when I get mad at a driver then I see they could be my father. so sad

Well, they can drive and as long as they are able they should.
You are going to be old one day (if your lucky) and maybe should just be a little patient with them.
