People were more trusting back then so I say , "yes".You could leave your house, car whatever unlocked and noone had to worry. Also back in the sixties you could walk down the street with a shotgun on your way rabbit hunting and noone really questioned that. Try to do that now?

Yes, indeed. The kids today are way more violent. A parent could feel safe about sending their kids to school. These day, the kids are into so many stupid things, they are pulling their entire generation down the tube. There are more gang wars, drugs, young girls being skanks, and a whole myriad of problems. All this adds up to violence. Hopped up airheads looking for free money to support their habits. We as parents, need to stop our youth from this brazen behavior so we can be safe again. Also, we need to transport any ethnic people back to their home country.

Yeah it was much safer and much more peaceful! Being born in 1940 and raised in the 1940's and 1950's I was there! Nut cases weren't going around shooting people because they were wearing the wrong colors or cut them off in traffic. It's wasn't perfect but it was a helluva lot better than it is now! Of course we didn't have that cultural rot called "hip hop" which glorifies every uncivil and criminal act up to and including murder either!

There would be dangers in any era you live in as well as any area, too. I'm sure in the old days you may have to worry about scarlet fever and other illnesses that were incurable. But you also didn't have aids and the other sexually transmitted diseases that are incurable, now.

As far as society, I would bet it would have been safer, being less populated and more neighborly. By the way, there was no TV, back then to corrupt our children.

Yes. Now people are doing perverted things. No one is interested in getting a decent education, career, wife and family.
If that is the case why do you kill what you have created? Thou shall not kill.
