I have always been able to figure out most illusions, but this guy has me completely stumped. Somebody clue me in.

My best guess is paid spectators and an off-cam crane. Not only is it my best guess, it's the only sane guess I think can be made.

No group of unpaid, ordinary street schmoes are going to just keep exclaiming "unbelievable" and "are you getting this?" as seen in this clip.

I think only one expanation is possible...

thin wire and helicopter extremely high in the sky.

Please know that you and I both know this is a trick/illusion.

Hence we are going to see mistakes if we look close enough at the film.

I think I see when the film first starts.
When he is first stretching out his arms...that there are two strange pointed protrusions sticking up off each shoulder.
They stick up about an inch and a half.

Further, when he is lifted up, it is apparent his legs go limp.
I don't think this would be the case if one was actually levitating,
you would actually be rigid and just "rise".
His weight is taken off his legs and he is even "testy" at first as he almost retouches the balls of his feet back onto the surface.

Also, please note that just as he is off his feet, his body starts to turn to the right about 1/4 turn, as if suspended from something.

The helicopter then brings him over to the other roof,
pausing momentarily while someone radios location and height.

Then the completed few feet as he touches down and walks away as the camera goes stillframe.

In Short, I think Wires and a helicopter.

Hey, it is not real, and we know it isn't a pole of some sore,
or a jetpack,
hence, suspension is the acceptable possibility, eh?

:-)

JP thinks it might either be done by computer stuff or by ropes. i ruled out the computer graphics theory, since the image seems too clear for that, but the ropes? hmmm. maybe he is using some type of new transparent cords. notice how the camera never pans around or (especially) points up above him? there is probably a crane above, and i agree the comments are pretty implausible. tee exaggerated for show, almost like they are acting or something, pffft. well how about that?!
