I completed my four-year degree in three years. And nobody cares!
Most college students change majors at some point in time, so it's normal for them to need a little extra time to complete their degree. Employers aren't necessarily concerned with the length of time it took you to complete (within reason... ten years is a little weird...) as long as you have the knowledge and skills.

It took me 5 yrs. to graduate from college. There are a myriad of reasons that people take longer than the traditional 4 yrs. to get through school. I don't think it's a red flag for employers. Relax, and just do the very best in school that you possibly can. Good luck. :)

5 years is actually the average so I wouldn't sweat it. I did mine in 4.5 years. I think people should enjoy the college experience and not just load up on classes so they can get out. But of course experiencing it for more than 7 years and not being a doctor looks bad.

Don't worry about it. I took about 7 years to complete my college degree - mostly because I started to work full-time and go to school part-time. Most employers won't care - but have a good explanation for why you took a little longer prepared for when you start going into interviews. You know, just in case.

you will desire to experience proud which you're in college. to boot every person isn't scheduled to end college in 4 years. basically take it at a %. it is sweet for you. Its extra perfect to take how long you like in college then dashing college and not being waiting to make it.

No it doesn't make you look bad. There are men and women who are old and go to college so being behind is nothing.

Hang in there. Stick it out til the end, cause that's what they look at on a resume. They don't look at how long it took!
