Well, I used to save it in a jar, and then roll it up, take it to the bank for cash. That's too much trouble these days, though. Whenever I end up with a few bucks worth of spare change, I go buy ice cream with it at the grocery store or something similar. Hey, you've got to treat yourself once in a while, and spending it a little bit at a time means that you don't have an angry cashier on your hands, too. ;-)

I have a cooler water jug ( like the kind that comes from the cooler water machines), and I put all of my change in there. I have now been saving my change for about 7 years now, and I own about 10 of those big blue jugs worth of change that I keep stored in my basement. I will continue to do it so that I know I will never be broke. lol!

put it in a jar and when I have enough I put them in coin rolls and trade them for dollars at stores. Cashiers usually appreciate rolled coins as they run out sometimes. Ask them if they will accept them first
