I am a college student in WA state about to finish for the quarter. I want to get a good job for the summer but do not have much work experience, and people out here don't like hiring unless you have experience. However you can't get experience until you get a job. It's such a frustrating cycle! Anyway, I need a job to pay for my schooling and am willing to do almost anything! Any suggestions PLEASE? They will help me a lot! Thank you!

Tough call. I know what you're talking about. It can get pretty malicious too. Considering that, magically, streams of people coming in from foreign countries appear to fit into a job situation, housing, etc. seemingly effortlessly.

Then again, you wouldn't want to make the compromises they've probably made for this "effortlessness". Keep looking. Remember too that not everyone has a college education to any degree. Privately, most people despise that.

Your best bet is to try for self employment. Seems like a task but can it be done. Other people have. I wouldn't encourage any type of government work to whatever extent. Even civil level.

Be careful of flattering types who make a big show of who they know or evidences of conspicuous material consumption. Yes, even if you know they're involved in government work.

Frankly you should have been lining up a job way back in february or march. since you are in college you can do an internship and get experience.
