From a start-up life insurance company. We found out that insurance companies can invest in stock ipo's, but we would like to know if they are able to invest in hedge funds. Your answers are welcome, thank you.

Fairly general question. All life insurance companies of all types, makes and brands? Surely you know they are all different. They're private companies and can do what they want, or they may be limited by their charter.

Call a few and ask them. That will make you be more specific. Otherwise, garbage in equals garbage out.
