Are the seats compatible on XJ750 Maxim Motorcycles from the years 81-83?

I have a 1982 Maxim XJ750 and need to replace the seat so I'm looking for compatibility with other years possibly.

The '81 XJ750RH & '82 XJ750RJ seats are the same. I'm not sure if the R model is a Maxim.
That's why I ask people to give the complete model #.
