I can't say for sure b/c my memory is not what it used to be, but it was more than likely "Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Poltergeist." I don't remember how old I was, though. my friends and I would always rent horror movies when we had sleepovers.

The first Chuckie movie, i forget what it was called. I was about 3 or 4 and I ended up being terrified of big dolls for a couple years afterwards. Never let your kids watch scary movies!!! Even if you don't think they'll really understand anything, some images get stuck in their heads forever!

The very first horror movie I saw was the original (black & white) version of "The Blob". Guess you've figured out my age!. I'd say I was around 8 years old,and my sister had to take me with her, because my mom did'nt want her to be alone in a dark movie theater with her boyfriend. I covered my eyes most of the time, when the Blob started squeezing people, and my sister's boyfriend started squeezing her! (smile)

I watched one episode of "The World Beyond" when I was about 9. I had nightmares for weeks about that one TV show. After that, no horror shows or movies for me.

The Swamp Thing, but I don't think it was a horror movie, per se. $h!t scared the $h!t outta me, though. I had to jump from my doorway to my bed at night cuz I thought he was creepin' under there. I was like eight years old.

Ma dukes cut the horror films right out after that.

Wizard of Ozz, when I was six years old (it wasn't when it came out, I'm not THAT old).

It was those flying monkeys that did it for me....."FLY my pretties FLY!!!"

I was hiding behind the seats, crying like crazy and totally hysterical.

My Father, ever the diplomat, said "Good God, Johnny, they're not at all scary. Don't be such a PANSY"

But I got my revenge. I grew up, left home, met a really nice man and 'Hey, Presto!!!'..... it turns out I AM a pansy.....
