To sentence a child sex offender, what would your punishment be?

I say let the parents Kill him (or the child). Their method of choice.

Minimum, physical castration (penis and all). He can use a catheter for the rest of his life, I don't care. And NEVER let them into society again.

It would be cheaper to kill them than to house them...

Here's what I would do if given the chance (continuously torture him until his body gives out. I call it Therapy.);
Let Bubba have his 'way' with them first. Then peel off all the guys skin, pour honey on him, and stake him over an ant hill....staple his eyes open too so they dry out. Starve him... Pull his fingernails off with pliers...the beat the SOB with a baseball bat (break some ribs, hit him in the kidneys). Leave him to cook in the hot hot sun until he blisters...Poke his skinless body with a fondue fork...OH! Put salt and lemon juice on him....Break his nose and fingers...Snip his toes off with a pair of wire cutters...

(I could go on and on. I really hate people who rape/molest women/children. It p*sses me off something fierce!)

Children that are victomized will never be the same again. It causes all sorts of life long problems that cannot be fixed.

Anyone who harms a child should be put in the general prison population until they die first time or not and anyone who rapes or kills a child should receive a death sentence to be carried out after no more than 2 yrs on death row.

They should received a brand on the forehead highlighted with a 2 inch red tatoo that says, "I sexually abuse children."

After receivng the punishment, they shoud be allowed to go in peace.

Removing or attempting to remove the tatoo result in a 20 year imprisonment (in the general prison population) with no parole.

An eye for an eye he should recieve the same punishment that he gave to that child, then castrated with out any pain meds. And put in the stocks for the public to call him names and throw things at him.

we need a penal colony, just like Sicily and Australia used to be - Send all the offenders to an island, where they have to support themselves, and to never to be in contact with anyone outside of their own peers again. Papillion, the movie with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman - prime example.

Either that or death - you cannot rehabilitate these people; it becomes an addition, a psychological addition, whose than heroin. There is no cure - something's amiss in their "wiring". dj

It may not sound like enough to some people, but I'd sentence them to life in prison, where no doubt, they will be raped over and over again, and see what the poor child felt like.

For rape of a child (pre-teen) - death by hanging.

For lesser offenses, liberal use of corporal punishments, and always life sentences. These people cannot be put back into society.

Put them in a hospital and study them inside and out. Killing them does no good, locking them up for years cost money. Studying them finding out what makes them tick, may help to prevent people in the future from committing such horrible crimes.

life in prison. i hear that such folks are at the bottom of the jailhouse hierarchy - and that they don't tend to live long in prison - they tend to have accidents - really bad accidents - like walking into a knife. 20 times. backwards.
