Well, just because it's easy to find a job with a major does not mean it's the best major for you. You don't want to study something and work in that field for rest of your life if you don't like the subject in the first place. But as far as job availability and salary goes engineering, business and nursing are the top there.

I think the 'best' major has a lot more to consider than ease of finding a job and great salary. I mean with those criteria only, why not be a physician...who's ever heard of an unemployed doctor? But of course not everyone can just be a doctor. It takes more than simply deciding to do it. Also doctors put in crazy hours their whole life, typically graduate with mounds of student loan debt, have to make life and death decisions, and really require a 'calling' in order to be happy and good at their career.
I would really encourage you to consider what you really like to do, what you are good at, and what will someone pay you to do. As far as ease of finding work...its a consideration, but if you are talented in your selected area and enthusiastic about your choosen profession, believe me it will show in an interview.
Your career life often spans 40 years or more. It should be something you can be passionate about.
Good luck.

The best major depends on each person. Teaching is the most needed job there is and there is a high demand for them.

if u r not squeamish, then nursing is the best major. u get to help ppl and make good money. but if u r not interested in your classes, take some classes outside your curriculum and find something that interests you. u have to study something that u enjoy. don't get stuck in a major that u r not interested in! :)

Money magazine recently published a chart of the best jobs rated in the areas of salary, ease of entry, stress level, and some other things.
you could try searching for that article.

I think law is the best major, it may take a little while to get through, but if you survive an internship, you just might get a starting job, and one day open your own office.

If nursing is what you like stick with it. If it isn't you, change your major to something you like. Yes money is important, but doing what you like is equally important. Good luck.

Depends on where you are. Teaching in Science and Math, or Nursing in US are great.
Other than that, it is pretty specific to areas...
