Most People think of people from maine in different ways its just im from maine and would like to see what people think of us lol please be nice!

Something nice about people in Maine ...they seem always ready to help others ...If your car slides into a ditch, usually the next person to come by stops to help. ....if someones house burns down, people from the area are ready to help....along with that, people seem to know all about each others business...which isn't necessarily bad: it's part of what holds society together.

I love Maine and the people there but then I'm descended from people born up there. Both my paternal grandparents were born there - Canaan & Augusta but I also have roots in Jefferson, Somerville, Windsor, Chelsea, Whitefield, Skowhegan, Jackman & South Portland. I love the beaches and the shores - Cadilac Mountain is a favorite of mine. If I could build a log cabin anywhere it would be up in the beautiful northwest mountains in Jackman.

When I think of Maine, all I think of is Lobster.........your sooooo lucky to live by the water!!!!! Seafood, yummy!!!
