The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. Yahoo isn't the government. They can do whatever they want. And that is very American.

I think that there should be complete freedom of speech.

I am taking it now.
By all the posts I see from you I see only hate and agression. Instead of searching for answers outside you and blaming everyone outside you, you might have a look inside. I know my words will probably not have an effect on you, but I feel sorry for you that you are so f*cked up by whatever what, and that you can only be agressive. Your life must be not a very nice life.

You seem to me that you yourself are your biggest enemy. Not the world.

Good luck.

And no, I am not a Christian.

Yahoo Answers has a Community Guideline, which you agree to follow when you sign up to it. The first amendment only applies when you are in public speech and you have not agreed to some form of censorship. If you don't like it, it is your right to not participate.

There's a fine line between freedom of expression (which should be permitted) and statements which could incite criminal acts (which should not). It's a matter of opinion where that line should be drawn, and as such there will necessarily always be disagreement. You're entitled to your opinion, but Yahoo have the final say, and you have to live with that.

Yahoo is open to all over the world or at list in 6 other country so it can't be un American

No, it epitomizes American-ism because it's totally democratic. When enough people get sick of someone's $h!t, it's reported and gone-- not by Yahoo, but by Yahoo users.

Remember, your rights end when another's rights begin. Until you understand that, don't post $h!t about the First Amendment.

No, it doesn't make them "un american" its the RULES, like with anything there are rules to go by and even freedom of speech is limited. If they just let questions like ""I wanna F**** you in dey a** want to c** and get it?" it wouldn't be a friendly site for all ages and honesty there is no need for that type of language on a clean site such as answers.

The first ammendment prevents "government" from infringing on your right of free speech. Last time I checked, Yahoo was a company, not a nation-state.

What happened to reading comprehension? You agreed to terms of use when you joined this service, and they tell you right up front they have the right to do what they want with the content. In other words, they enjoy the right to determine what they will have on their property. Your free speech rights (which, by the way, only apply to government suppression) do not trump their property rights. Theirs trumps yours.
