Ok, what i want it to have it split, the get a small stud through each side and have them connected by a chain. Please don't just say "oh please don't, it will hurt" I would like advice from people who either know about piercings and such, or have had thier tongues split, I need to know if it would be possible for me to get that done.

I don't care if you guys think it will hurt, and i'm not going to live to sixty, i drink and smoke and drive fast, sixty is not happenin. I already talk funny and i already have a job, interview is no biggie right now. I know it will hurt, i'm not an idiot, just a bit of a masochist, and to the bastard who made the comment about cutters, you are a f u c k i n g a s s h o l e. Get a life. I asked a serious question and i don't need you telling me not to do it, i have a mother for that.

There are a lot of piercing parlors that will do the split, but definatly spend some time researching for the best place. I'd imagine you'd want to feel comfortable with the person doing it, and not just some random dude.

You may have a job now, but what happens when you try to look for another one in five years? Or you have kids? I'm sure your kids would LOVE to be the freaks with the mom who has a split tongue. Seriously people, personal expression is all well and good but there are limits to what society has to accept.
Of course, to be fair, I had already pre-formed an opinion of you based on your answer to the "Would you keep $100,000 if you found it?" question.

I did see this one guy on this one bizarre TV show who had his done like that, so it isn't all THAT unusual. He also had his body covered in tattoos, too. The double piercing with the connecting chain would probably make it look pretty cool, I think.

Question is, what if the split continues over time and goes all the way back your throat?
Also, have you checked what that could do to your normal speech?

I think you should look into local piercing places, some of them specialize in branding, and they also split. Best advice i have, is to call around, or look em up online locally!! good luck

Have you even thought about how it will affect your taste buds? Are you willing to risk not being able to taste certain foods just so you can have a chain in your mouth?
I don't think you should. Medical reasons.

While you do it, try to put a ring through your ear, and make it pierce through the cheek and connect it to your new piercing.God will be sooo happy to see how his beutiful creations play with the body he gave them with.

you if you get your tongue spit you can't eat stuff that will infect your tongue. I got my tongue spit it hurts like hack
