They were very quite last night. Today they are wobbly and can't walk. Can they be in shock? what can I do?

Just to to add for the cocky idiots. Males can live together fine as I have 5 that do happily and yes I can take them to the vet but I though someone might have a brain on here instead of being rude!

yes, placid males-likely from same litter- can
live together well, but this is rare, most likely,
there will be a dominant male, and he will hurt the
placid one. are their spinal cords damaged?
for the love of god, take them to the vet!

It depends on how severe the injury is. GIUNEAS should never be housed together, they are aggressive animals and will fight. I would clean the wound with soap and water, apply a little hydrogen paroxide and some triple antibiotic ointment several times a day. I would also start the loser on broad spectrum antibiotics, sold for birds respiratory infections at petco or petsmart. The active ingredient should be erithrymicyn. Place a tab in the water every day. If you need some more help, please e-mail me at wendi_just_me@yahoo.com
I'm an expert at this stuff, too bad it doesn't pay, that is why I'm in college going for my BBA. That sort of rhymed. Happy to help!

I always kept male guinea pigs together -no problem--they groomed each other and everything--both adults--when one passed away the other did about a week later, as what happens when animals bond, unlike people, they bond for life.
I would call the vet most defiantly..leave them be and maybe they will recoup..I hope so

I agree with the fact that they should be seperated. Males do tend to fight because of territory issues and if not seperated could end up killing each other. Also you should bring your pet to the vet to have it looked at to make sure there is'nt any serious injuries or other medical problems with it. I wish you the best with your friends. Hagd.

male guinnea pigs fight over terrirory. They should not be in the same cage. They could kill one another.
