I'm looking for a website that clearly states the police's reasons for disliking the new bill that allows the selling of hypodermic needles over the counter.

I realize the answer is plain and simple, but with mainstream media being in favor of this bill, no article/website/newspaper I search through has given the police's reasons for rejecting this bill, only the reasons why this bill is going to "save lives"

I'd just like a URL to a website which clearly shows the cons of such a bill.

First to clarify a few things: Currently the law in a few states dictates that a prescription is required to purchase or poses hypodermic needles. Any change would require changing the law. The state police do not participate in that process and can not reject a law.

go look in a back alley! by making needles easier to acsess to the public, heroin users will get to them easier.
