No. The marsupial wolf lived in Australia and
Tasmania (it is presumably extinct). Marsupials
didn't spread as far as Borneo, so could not have
been ancestors of any animal in Borneo. The
marsupial wolf was carnivorous, but did not belong
to the mammal group called Carnivora, which were
not marsupials.

no certainly not the evolution had been taken place and carnivores had been evolved earlier than marsupial wolf infact marsupial wolf is a type of carnivore
