I hate to say this .... but it sounds like you should just have a dang cigarette lol. I'm not trying to sound pushy but a lot of people who quit smoking do it to fast and they go through weight gain and bodily problems.

The weight gain is prob from eating more after stopping smoking. The other stuff: can other people tell that you are swollen etc? If no one can see anything but you feel weird, it could be anxiety. If other people can see something it could be allergies (the rash and swelling part anyway). You could try taking Benadryl or something and see if it helps. The heartburn and diarrhea or whatever could mean you have some kind of stomach acid problem or ulcer. So you could have three separate things. Your family dr would be able to sort it out better than the ER dr.

I think the swelling was caused by either something you ate or something you touched...eg. poison ivy, another possibility was you were bitten by an insect and had an allergic reaction. I think that is combined with anxiety caused by smoking cessation. Please don't consider starting smoking again because nothing good will come of it. I also think you may be in perimenopause, which would explain the heart racing and the skin problems as well as the irregularity. Many hormonal imbalances occur when you are approaching menopause and it leads to all kinds of whacky symptoms. Thankfully, a friend introduced me to a product that is an adaptogen and went to work on my auto-immune deficiencies. If you would like some serious information on this, contact me and I will share it with you.

I suggest that you go to your family doctor (one that you trust). A family doctor tends to take more time with you and should be able to help much more in this situation than an ER doc.
Sounds to me like you are having a severe allergic reaction to something, possibly something that you ate
