Keep your weight under control.

Don't smoke.

Cut salt and sodium from your diet.

garlic helps to lower the b/p
get some exercise and watch yor salt intake and stay away from shrimp and lobster it has alot of cholesterol which is not good either

my dad has a similar dilemma years ago and what he did was to cut down on salt and sodium and ate baked salmon for a month.
