It may be that's she's sad, disappointed and yes, even angry. For a lot of parents it's very difficult to accept that their children are living a homosexual lifestyle. Maybe she had hopes of seeing her son married to a woman with children of his own and now must accept that that's not going to happen. She's probably dealing with the loss of some of her dreams for her son. She might also be blaming herself for her son's homosexuality; maybe she thinks she caused it. There are probably a multitude of reasons for her feelings.

The mother needs to look into what made her son turn gay. Getting mad will not help her or the son. Perhaps a long talk with him about his decision will give her a better understanding of what happened. People need to respect others decisions as long as they do not harm the innocent. Understanding promotes comfort because there can not be blame without responsibility. Blame does not accomplish anythings and it often hides major problems. Working with those you love lets you become comfortable with their decisions.

Of course not. However, most mothers are mad when they find out. Parents should strive to accept certain facts about their children. If you've come to accept your son's physical appearance, then by all means, accept the way that he thinks as well. Being a homosexual, is, from what I have observed, just a way of thinking. Philosophy has never been a crime, or considered wrong (save for during the Inquisition), so parents shouldn't persecute their children because of their sexual orientation.

i think that it is up to her, if she really loves her son she will not care what sexually he is or will become. But it would be normal 4 a mother to feel a little let down from her son if he was to be gay.

NO. The mother probably sucked some ***** in her life time. Why should she be mad beccause her son is following in her foot step? She should be proud. LOL. It's not that big of a deal. Get over it.

should you be angry that your child is living a lifestyle many do not understand and will condemn? yes. should you be mad that the main religious groups in the world will condemn your child and say he is not worthy of their gods' love? yes. should you be angry that our own government is making it impossible for your child to be a part of the American lifestyle? yes. should you be angry at some of the crap you will see in answers as the type of thing your child will live with on a daily basis? yes. should you be mad at your son, as a mother your love is unconditional, would you be angry if he was in an accident and ended up in a wheel chair. I do not believe homosexuality is a choice, so what do you have to be angry about.

Sometimes they will be at first but they will usually get mostly over it in awhile. Yes, it does upset them because they forgot to consider that this was a possibility. Help other mom's be ready by always reminding parents that their kids might be gay, from the time that they are born. That's what i do.

No. What type of strange question is that? That's about as strange as asking, "Should a mother be mad that her son has brown eyes instead of blue?"

I could understand her being upset, however he is still her son weather she likes it or not. She should try to be supportive and understanding. After all he is her family and that is one of the most important things that we are given, why would you push him away, eventually he or she will be taken away from the other without choice of their own.

No. Homosexuality is a result of genetics so it's natural for
her son to be gay.
