you make stakes and put them in the ground at each end of the rows of irises a little in front of them and stretch a string ,not to thin of a string,it will cut into them if you use a thin string,use a thick string like string line string,anyways tie it at to one of the stakes and then go in front of the flowers with the string and pull it tight enough to hold them up some and tie it to the other stake.the flowers will lean on the string that is staked in front of them instead of falling to the ground.i had to do this to my gladiolas!
