welll if you dont know what to feed it i would give it tosomeone who does.... but anyways they eat alfalfa about a leaf or two at each feedeing (2 feedings)* depinding on size age of horse* *a leaf of hay i what you pull off the baile
also depending on what the horse is for plesure ridding, Commpation, pasture decoration :) you should give it a coffee can of grain a day usely at night.
now this is all if the horse is in a paddok or stall if its outside in a pasture alot of folks around here free freed them which means they put a Very large baile of alfalfa in the middle of the pasture and just let them eat off that.

Well how did you get it? Someone just give it to you? You should have some inkling of what a horse needs to eat. If not, then you shouldn't keep it. They really are a big resposibility and time consuming.

I have a registered quarter horse . I have had her almost two years and I feed her sweet feed, cracked corn, alfalfa pellets and soy meal mixed with minerals.... they can be a little expensive but if you like to ride they are a very good investment.... and also alot of fun.......
