I think it depends on who you are and at what point of your life you're in. Kids rely on their parents, family and teachers to make decisions because they cannot all the time. Teenagers rely on their friends to make the best decisions and ask for their opinion, especially girls. Girls get influenced more than boys. In the corperate world, leaders rely on their employees, and in politics, leaders ask their ministers as well as their people. So really, everyone relies on someone at one point during their lives over easy or difficult decisions wheter it be what toy to buy, what dress to wear or whether to be involved in a war or not.

I would guess a few people do if they are not confident in their own judgement, however, it's better to ask and seek advice and then make up your own mind based on the experiences of others.

I suppose it depends on the type of decision...there are people who have difficulty making the most easiest decision.
