I'm homeschooled and I love it. I like having freedom to learn things at my own pace and not moving on until I truly know them. There is a lot less stress than I had in public school. People like to say that homeschoolers aren't socialized but that's a lie.
I'm not in any kind of group or anything but I have no trouble talking to people and getting along with them. In spite of popular belief we don't stay locked up in our houses all day.

Homeschooling is quickly becoming the province of antisocial Bible thumpers, unfortunately. If you're only exposed to one opinion throughout your day for your entire human developmental phase, you cannot possibly come out the other side with a clear understanding of both sides of any given issue.
It all depends on the parent, but public schools and universities, if properly funded (a HUGE problem in urban areas) will create a better critical thinker more often than not than a homeschool.

I am in a public school, and when I was younger i wanted to be homeschooled, but one of my friends got taken out of public school (for personal reasons) and was homeschooled for a while. She didnt get the same things we do, she didnt get to see her friends every day, enjoy the class clown, or enjoy some idiot argueing w/ the teacher, the...not so great school food. Homeschooled children may be smarter but at least public school children have a life where their parents arnt always stuck up their ***.

a million. Homeschoolers are as socialized as anybody else. The principal change from public schoolers might be that homeschoolers have extra possibilities to have interaction with a much broader variety of humans from more than a few cultures and backgrounds. In public institution you spend such a lot time in a study room with equal age children from the equal zip code. a. Socialized to me approach being in a position to have interaction with different humans. two. Many homeschoolers get a first-class schooling. a. I suppose such a lot homeschoolers who prefer tuition are good ready. They have most likely spend extra time finding out on their possess and feature had extra numerous reviews main there. three. Homeschoolers spend extra time within the "truly" global, so they're higher ready to position in it. They see what it takes to reside external of a study room for extra hours everyday. a. Some homeschoolers could also be sheltered, however not more than public schoolers. A lot of this rather is determined by the man or woman loved ones. There is plenty of form in the market, identical to with public institution scholars. Every character is special and has unique reviews. I honestly suppose promenade is dangerous illustration of lacking out due to the fact that as homeschoolers my daughter had the possibility to visit three final yr. two homeschool ones, and a million public institution. The handiest factor they fail to notice is the general public institution enjoy. Often homeschoolers get study room enjoy which has similarities, however it is not as common or as so much a facet in their lives. Therefore they see matters from another point of view. But, however, even children within the equal study room do this, simply probably to not the equal measure. As for cmow... I uncover his feedback fun. I take a look at to not be impolite to humans, however his vainness and lack of knowledge simply made me LOL. Good success for your paper :D

I was in a public school and i definately would not want to be home schooled because i would get really lonely being homeschooled. plus my mom is a librarian and she used to teach so she would be way to hard on me.!!

Public.
Social skills are necessary and learned. If you are not in a social environment, how can you learn them?
There are milestones in growing up and keeping your children in lockdown deprives them of experiencing them.
If you don't live in a great neighborhood and have issues with the school system, move.
I did precisely that.
I work whatever extra I have to to keep my children in a great school system.
