I love E.L.O.! You don't need help, you need more CDs! As for new groups, well, I have your problem, but I have discovered Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys and Scissor Sisters. Give them all a try. Some new music isn't bad. As for your addiction, I recommend The Moody Blues.

Whenever I think of ELO, I think of the Xanadu soundtrack. lol If there is a classic rock addiction group, I'll be right there with you, bud! If you want to listen to somebody that's not really too well known but have some AMAZING songs, check out these two musicians/bands: Terry Reid and The Buoys. Two AWESOME 70's rock dudes. Also check out this website... http://www.ugly-things.com/ It has everything you want to know about those really cool, trippy bands from the 60's and 70's. BTW, I'm only 30! LOL!

Why do you feel bad about listening to music by people who actually had talent?

Most of today's "musicians" are just carefully packaged PR props.

Keep on rockin', my friend.

I long for the days when it was more important how you sounded than what you looked like....

The 1st MTV video ever aired (by The Buggles) had it right: Video Killed The Radio Star!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with that music. You are cool! If you are driving them crazy, just think how wonderful it is to be the only sane one of the people you know!

Your family has got to embrace your Slow Ride---Take it easy for cryin' out loud! I mean you're not an Evil Woman! If they can't handle it, take a trip to China Grove.
