veronica needs her head checked. wow. though her answer was kind of amusing. i mean obviously the intention of getting a degree is to find a husband. right.
Its sounds like possibly you have an undiagnosed learning dissability. We learn to cope wiht difficulties we face and can last a long time without being diagnosed. ADD is also a posibility. Though be wary if someone wants to rush and diagnose for that, people - especially fed up teachers and parents prescribe medications for ADD when it might not be the case, but because its easier to handle a drugged up child then fix the problem.

"im not on a diet you freaking idiot.if i was i would have said that." Perhaps the problem is that you have a bad attitude about learning or reading or any type of knowledge.
Diet plays an important role in being able to retain information. If you aren't eating right, your mental state can be affected. Diet is different than "A Diet".
You don't say how old you are, so I can't comment on it being age related, and you don't say how active you are, so I can't comment on it being simply 'overscheduled' or having too many things going on. You also don't say if you have any other conditions or are taking any medicines, so I can't comment on it being something affected by that.
If you are of school age, talk to a counselor there about your difficulties. They may recommend that you see your pediatrician or a psychiatrist/psychologist to diagnose this further. It may be something like ADD, or it may simply be a behavioural or attitude thing (anger and irrationality can make it difficult to concentrate).
Good luck to you and I hope you are able to figure out what's going on.

I can definitely say....you do not have ADD!!
You could possibly have dyslexia.........or you could be an auditory or kinesthetic learner.
I know with having dyslexia i mix up words and letters all the time (writing AND speaking)........i also know from personal experience that by actually "doing" the thing I'm learning i have a better chance of retaining the info. (I'm a kinestetic & a visual learner) So if i can "see" it and "do" it i have much better luck at remembering it!!!
My Fiance cannot retain info by reading......so he gets everything on CD (thats how i got him in love with literature) Now he cant wait to come home, sit down, and "listen" to a book!! He's found a love that he always thought he could never enjoy because he couldnt retain the information by reading.
Good Luck ;-)

u could be on some stress, going through a stage, or just plain shy around some people, that happend to me before, but it went away, check if you have any speech classes in your school or town. and about forgetting things well maybe school or family is giving you a hard time so spend some time alone for a while maybe you will ease up. if you still have problems maybe you should check with a docter.

I don't think you have ADD because its not like your not paying attention you just can't remember what people are telling you. There is a drug out on the market nowadays taht I believe is called Focus Faster or something along those lines. Maybe you should try something like that. But I would first talk to your doctor to see what he has to say.
Maybe there is something your doctor can tell you that me or anyone else on here can't!

Do you eat enough - there is a minimum of calories one needs on a daily basis (on average).
Sounds to me you are taking dieting way too seriously.
A good diploma is way more important to find a good husband than being slim.
If you cannot solve this by yourself go to the school mentor (or physisian) and be honest about how much you eat.

It could be ADD or ADHD. You also could be dyslexic. The best way to know for sure is to get diagnosed.
