No tan. With an ivory colored skin you are even more suceptable to skin cancer and premature aging than people with darker skin tones. Wear a minimum of SPF 15 every day, reapply as needed when spending time outside, avoid direct sunlight as much as possible, and you will be rewarded with healthy, youthful, beautiful skin even up to late middle age, and even as an old woman you will have soft, even-toned skin with few wrinkles.
White is beautiful, too.

I think a light tan will look more natural but with such a light complextion you should stay out of the sun as much as possible -and in any instance always with SPF - because it will only get you sunburn and with time your skin will develop ugly dark spots and wrinkles.
Why don't you try a self tanner? I too have an ivory complextion and have had lovely results with Lancome's self tanners. I get the dark color and the color turns out a perfect honey color with just one application and if you want to go darker just reapply after a couple of hours. Just remember to exfoliate real well before applying. Personally I also always apply a daily moisturizing cream with high SPF under my makeup every day.

I am a redhead and have really fair skin. I go to the tanners, and I get pretty tan. When I first started going my color wasn't as good as it is now, but the different pigments in your skin has to come out before you will look good.
I'd say just go a little at a time, and you will be ok!
Get as dark as you want! Its your body!
I look better tan than my white skin so do what you think looks best!

Light to none. If you are fair skinned, you are much more predisposed to sun related problems. This includes not just cancer, but sunburns, sun stroke, and premature aging. Consider using a product like L'Oreal's 'Sublime Glow' for fair skin. It's adds a small amount of color to your skin each day and can leave you with a nice glowing color. Also consider Garden Botanika's 'Sweet Retreat Sunless Tanning Body Lotion'. If you are fair, two or three days of use will get you a fabulous light tan color. : )

That depends on many things. But mainly haircolour and eyecolour.

For the rest it is just a matter of pesonal preference. Maybe you could contact a professional to give you advice. You would look for a good stylist in the yellow pages.
