these warehouse owners have a service where they sell laptop computers to normal customers like you and me, however with very reduced prices due to the fact that they do not have as much costs as normal shops do.

With the rapid development of technology, buying used or reconditioned computers is generally not advised. Remember, someone dumped them for a reason. If you are not a hardware tech, who can easily repair them, buying new is much safer and wiser. Besides, the prices keep dropping.

I have been given a few 'used' cpus, which did not last very long before crashing.

Dell.com is too cheap on new laptops to waste time or money on refurbs, used or otherwise unknown laptops.
