As long as the surface is smooth, you can fill the dents and scratches with the same "bondo" type material used by auto body shops. The material is sold at any auto parts store. Be sure to follow the directions and prepare the surface properly before applying the auto body filler. Spray cans of appliance paint are available at Lowe's or Home Depot and again preperation is critical to achieving good results.
If the surface of your appliance is anything other than smooth, I don't know what to tell you. Matching the pattern of any kind of "suede" finish will be very difficult.

You can buy appliance paint or if not real bad hang things all over it...like magnets, pics, a calendar, etc....
