Steve McNair is a competitor, much like Warren Moon was, but tends to get injured more often than Warren did. If he can stay healthy he will provide Baltimore with a solid starter for 4 or 5 more seasons, and/or a great backup in case of injury or poor starter play. He is difinitely an improvement over Kyle Boller at this point.

I like McNair and he is now reunited with Mason. They won't be great because the AFC North is such a tough division...will finish third behind Cinncy and Steelers. Boller could actually beat McNair out for starter at the beginning of season, but McNair will finish.

First thing that comes to my mind is: It's about time. We have been hearing about it for weeks and no trade had been made. It's a good more for the Ravens since they need a good QB. Hopefully, Boller can learn to play like Mcnair.

I'm from Tennessee and I think it was a crappy thing to do to a guy who has laid his butt on the line for your team. But I know and understand the nature of the business and I wish Steve all the best. I just hope Titan's ownership will one day soon realize how classless their front office management is and do something about it.

If he remains wholesome all season, teaming up with Derrick Mason back will save defenses unfold and jamal lewis gets working room. confident, he will lead the ravens to the playoffs.

His best days are over. He got beaten up in Tennessee. It's an improvement over Boller.

It's good for the Ravens. They will have a better QB then what they have had lately. He may be getting older but he is still better then what they have had and may be their best chance.

stats from last season shows he still has gas in his tank...i think this may be what Baltimore needs to get back into the playoffs.
