What is stopping you then? Don't let society and their crazy moral values stop you and your man from dating and or marrying someone who is in love. The world needs more people like you.
Someone who is willing to date or marry a man who may be younger or of a different culture! I say go for it!
I hope this relationship turns out to be just what you and he were looking for
Good luck!

I think its their own decision......but I am 31 and there is no way I would marry a 22 year old man. The age difference is not the problem, its the level of maturity. The older one may begin to feel more of the responsibilities as time goes by. The giidy feelings of love go away, and I would think that the younger person would begin to grow up and he/she may seek other options. I know that I am a totally different person now than I was at 22. I dont even remember who I was back then...lol.. I would really think about it.

At 49 y/o you should date or marry any 22 year old man you want as long as you realize he's a pervert, with a Mommy or Granny complex.
It SEEMS like a neat compliment, but think about this Honey. Don't you want a "normal" relationship where you and your mate will "fit in" with the world and your friends????
Advice: run away from this guy.
I wish you Love

I don't think you are going to find an answer to your question here. That is something that is different in every situation. It has to be based on your personalities, your place in life, your futue plans...things like that. If they are compatible, then go for it. You are both of leal age and have every right to make that decsision for yourself. Watch out, though. With such an age difference, you are sure to be scrutinized. But true love is worth every bit of it--if you can withstand the pressure and temptation to do things the conventional way. Let me add that the fact that the couple is interracial should make no difference in today's world. We are not naiive, though, and know that it still does. Once again, be strong and stand for what you believe in. You will be happier in life knowing that you stoof for something important and knowing that doing so has allowed you to be with the one you love.

It is their choice.
They will experience racism as an interracial couple and prejudice because of the huge age difference. If they love each other, know each other well, and are solid in their relationship it can work.
He has to know that she won't be able to have children and be willing to live with that knowing he won't have anyone to carry on his name/genes. He has to also be aware that she's not that young and he'd be responsible for caring for her. Sure she's fine now, but in 5-10 years she might start having severe health problems. Just when he gets to his prime, she'll be out of hers.
There is some excitement to this type of relationship (age difference). She is flattered that he is interested in her despite her age. He is flattered because an older woman finds him intellectually simulating and her equal. They both feel complimented.
My personal opinion/experience is that it shouldn't happen. But, they need to see that for themselves. If you push them, they'll just go for it further.

I didn't want a 22 year old "boy" when I was 20. Now at 29 I still don't.

A 22 year old man? Think about that for a minute.
Let's think about where a 22 year old man's (boy) brain is. Think, think, think,,,,okay, we're all coming up with something,,,,,,
it's sex, sex, money, sex more money and more sex. Nothing else. He is learning about getting into the work force, hot chicks and what have you. Nothing else.
IF she thinks that he really loves her, she's completely kidding herself and he's totally fooling her. Let's be real here.
One last question: If he was TOTALLY rich and had hot beautiful women all around him, would he still be with her?
Probably not.

nah, my son is 22. I would want a stable, secure man. Not a boy toy. Cause when I was 36 I dated a 22 yr old, and had a baby. They are only good for sex.
