I was trying to transfer the pictures off of a card, and something in the computer seemed to hesitate, and it stopped. But the properties shows the card as full, but on windows explorer, it shows no files on the card. Can I still save the pictures, or are they corrupted and gone forever? Or are they somewhere else on my computer?

Make sure you turn on show hidden files, but this is a common problem with flash drives. Many times the only way to be able to use it again is to erase the card / drive by formatting it. Sorry about your misfortune.

try putting it back in the camera and see if they show up, and the transfer them thru the cable, then format the card
