Many still do especially in the independent leagues...those that are not affiliated with any MLB team.

Probably. Although, adjusting for inflation, minor league salaries have been decreasing over the past 3 decades.

I know of one ex major league pitcher who did. Brian Allard of Tex. Rangers worked in a fertilizer plant. I know cause I worked with him in Henry ILL.

yes, some still do. minor league ball doesnt pay much.
