introduced by Dr. Daniel Goleman...it's a new branch in psychology that focus on emotions and how they are manifested in our lives
According to EI,(emotional intelligence) we can teach ourselves how to control our emotions in order not to "loose" them. As in if you're angry, you can spot your anger by learning to focus on the adrenaline rush that accompanies it. When you realize you're gettin heated, learn to breath and relax your muscules in order to calm yourself down instead of grabbing something and throwing it on who's bothering you.
It's also learning all our emotions and how to vent them out positively in order for us to become more assertive instead of aggressive.
That's EI to cut it short.....alot goes in to it...so i urge you to read more on the subject....it's very interesting...and it really matters more that IQ

Emotional intelligence is a bullshit construct created by multiculturalists in a vain attempt to cover up the fact that different populations differ with regard to intelligence. What they are desperately trying to prove is that different populations differ only in the type of intelligence. The whole thing, of course, has been a dismal failure. The truth of the matter is people are quite stereotypical in their expression of intelligence except at the very highest levels of intelligence where they tend to branch out with various subspecialties. If emotional intelligence even exists, it exists as only a variant of extremely high intelligence people. That's what the research shows, in a nutshell.

Emotional Intelligence is a rating system that tells us on a bell curve what stage we are in emotional growth.
There are prison full of big strong scarry men who ended up there because they are emotionally stunted, usually at the age of 12 because they had no male role model to show them what a man really is. Not just muscle and machismo but strong and grown up emotionally inside.
These guys inprisons are there becuase they got hurt emotionally one day and instead of dealing with the emotions and sorting them out like a real man, they were quick to temper and killed some body in a flash of rage. That's the best example I can give you. Women who are emotionally stunted usually play with men and play head games as if they were 12 years old in order to get what they want from a man. Many throw tantrums, power trips and with hold sex. That's Emotionally stunted. Too many women are like that. We are like this because we were seperated from our parents living on farms and put to work in factories in cities during the Industrial Revolution, which meant father , mother son and daughter became strangers and could not communicate emotionally with each other , unless it was through violence.Keep well-t
