No, England always finds a way to screw up in the second round no matter the talent of their squad...my bracket has them playing against Germany...which is another dash against England advancing...since Germany would be playing with a mighty large home field advantage...

They'll make the quarters at least and they've got the potential to go further. They might not win the World Cup but they'll at least prove they are a good team and get somewhere the fans can be proud of.
40 years on and we've worked hard to get here plauged with injuries as well. I think the deserve the World Cup simply because I'm and England supporter no other reason why really.
Come on England!

Trophy- seing as its not cup/mug shaped.
Oh, and no. Los Argentinos are just better. And then theres Brazil. And the hosts (look how France did in 98). This team have as much balls as the Austrain womens fencing team. Only Rooney and Robinson seem to have the desire needed to win. Lets hope Im proved utterly wrong!

I think that they will make the final, but they will lose to either Germany or Brazil-or the USA, even if it is a long shot! With all the injuries in the England squad, they'll wish they could take it home! But it ain't gonna happen!

1) because its the Germans !!
2) because we beat the Germans in TWO world wars
3) because its in Germany
and 4), like the French, WE HATE THE GERMANS !!!! The Germans steal all the sunbeds on holiday, they also think they are the best at everything.
oh and 5) BECAUSE TO BEAT THE GERMANS IN GERMANY IS THE BEST THING (APART FROM THE WAR) WE CAN DO AND LOOK FORWARD TO AS A NATION ! :))
