Oh goodness, no! The meaning of the word virgin is one who has not had sex. Putting in a tampon isn't having sex!

If you are a virgin, than I don't see any reason for inserting anything. Woman go though enough problems, and a tampon is not even the best thing for a woman who is not a virgin to use. But I understand why we do, as for you, I wouldn't recommend it though the choice is ultimately yours. And remember even if people define virginity as never having intercourse, An accidental breaking of the Hyman can be very painful. Give yourself some time.

there is a thin layer of skin in vagina, if it breaks thn u loose ur virginity.
u may lose ur virginity sometimes by using a tampon coz if u get much inside the skin will tear and u'l loose ur virginity. Even when ur cycling or other outdoor sports also this may happen. Dont get scared coz this happen to many people.

It depends the definition of virginity in your mind. If you mean virginity "not to have sex" u would not lose, but If you mean the hymen, then tampons break the hymen, so when you use a tampon your hymen is broken 96 %.

No. You only use your virginity when you have sex. It used to be that you were only a virgin if your hymen was intact, but in today's world, that is unusual. Anything can break it, from tampons to horse riding. Don't worry.

Nooooo.... You can tear the delicate membrane (hymen) as when you first have sex. But you're not having sex...so I'd say no. Virginity means you're a virgin...as in never having had sexual intercourse.
Of course...medical books might disagree and say that if the hymen has been broken then you're not a virgin...I'm not sure. My feelings are that you are a virgin until you have sexual intercourse...whether or not the hymen is intact.

lol. NO. I'm completely positive. So relax girl. You use a tampon to stop blood flow and personally i prefer it over a pad so don't worry.
