You poor thing. You are so missed informed. I am not sure if you are asking these things because you are serious and just don't know or if you are being funny, but just in case - I'll tell you the truth.
You can use a tampon f you are a vrigin. Using a tampon will not make you a non-virgin. You only lose your virginity if you have sex. Thant's it.
As far as stopping your period, there is no real way to stop it once it has started. Some birth control pills can allow you to have a period or not and some can make them much ighter. Extreme stress or extreme fitness/ exercise can also delay a period, but this is an extreme case and not healthy. Go to the library and get some info - fast.

Whoever told you that virgins can't use tampons fed you a load of crap. I had my period when I was still a virgin, and I went swimming all the time. It's much safer on your body to go ahead and use a tampon than to stop your body's natural functions. There are ways to do it with birth control, but still being a virgin and having a period that's on a normal schedule I wouldn't suggest using it. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." But I would use the tampons for a few days before hand so that you know you're comfortable with them. And make sure you follow ALL the instructions in the bow. You can get very sick from leaving them in too long. It's called Toxic Shock Syndrome, or TSS, ad I had it twice. Trust me, you don't want to know what it's like.

First not using a tampon because your a virgin is a falacy. Before we were married my wife used a tampon and she was a virgin. Second talk to your doctor about the contraceptive shot. That has been known to stop a womens period from occurring. However if your physically active as a swimmer, I'm surprised you have a period at all.

Sweetie, you can use a tampon if you are a virgin. Its a common misunderstanding but tampons will not make you lose your virginity and can be more comfortable than pads. Tampax has some that could be exactly what you need, they are called "Juniors". Read the instructions carefully, relax, take your time and be sure to wash your hands to keep your "lady area" clean. Good Luck at your meet!

Despite many answers here, you CAN actually stop a period once it has started (with certain medications).
In your case, there is no need though, just use a tampon.
Use of a tampon does not make you 'not a virgin'. Indeed, tearing of the hymen from anything other than sex does not make you 'not a virgin' either.

Unfortunately they are all right tampons are your only option if your period has already started. but in the future you can go on the pill or there is also different tablets your doctor can prescribe you.
Best thing is go to a nice lady doctor, your mum or a close friend and ask them how to use a tampon.

No there is no medication that can delay your periods or stop them.
Just because your a virgin doesn't mean you can't use tampons.
I'm sure everything is going to be fine.
Good Luck with the competition.

I use tampons and I'm a virgin. Tampons have nothing to do with losing your virginity. Talk to your mom about this.

haha....hunny...tampons will not affect your virginity. Looks like you have no choice on this anyways. If your worried because your super tight then buy the extra narrow ones. It may take practice getting it in and finding it comortable. I promise you will not lose your virginity to a tampon.
