Castration is the first thing that comes to mind. I have two daughters that like to play on the computer. It scares the hell out of me. I think that the majority of online predators are men. Fortunately, our government is looking for these people and they aren't too popular in prison.
Is Dyersburg still cool? I miss Century 21 Cabaret. Later.

Don't let your kids surf the net unsupervised. The internet seems to be this great experiment that shows us again and again that, left alone in a room with a computer, we are always up to no good.
They continue to publicize sting operations where I live, so it seems to send a message that they are cracking down. Whether or not you have philosophical objections to having your web surfing monitored or being lied to/tricked by police, they are making it clear that they are doing this and no one is stopping them. So, as long as the enforcement community keeps it honest, it would seem to work somewhat.
You should also be vigilant at work, in the neighborhood, at daycare, school, church, everywhere. You really have to develop the mentality that it could be anyone anywhere who is after the kids.

I think what Dateline and Perverted-Justice.com are doing is great. More stuff like this. And obviously, parents need to watch what their kids are doing online with extreme caution and concern and love.

There's nothing we can do until they are caught..It's the responsibility on the parents. Parents need to have more control over their children's time on-line and the website they visit..Period end of story!
