YES DEFINATLY!!! HOWEVER...........
The only things (at the gym) that you should do are the treadmill and the bike. You should not lift any weights (unless you were already a hardcore weight lifter pre-pregnancy) nor should you do anything that you have to use your stomache muscles for.
If you are looking for excercises that you can do at home, then I would get some pregnancy workout dvd's, because they are set up esspecially for pregnancy women.
One thing that is HIGHLY recommened that you do is Kegal exercises (the same thing you do when you are tring to stop peeing) this will strenthen your pubic mucles and help you have an easier delivery!
Whatever you decide to do, remember to keep your heart rate at 130 or below. This is because the fetus' heart rate goes up as yours does!! :)
Good luck, have fun, and CONGRADULATIONS!!!! :)

One the you have to keep in mind the first 3 mths of Pregnancy don't exercise you can do plenty walking but get lots of rest, Exercise in the first 3 mths may lead miscarrige or body pains. From the 4 mth you can start a small exercise program, but other than exercise you can be active( walk, stretch, etc). Try yoga, it's very good for you.

Of course! In fact doctors generally reccomend it unless you are a high risk case.
My wife is 5 months pregnant with our fist child and she owns a bellydance and yoga studio. During the course of the week she teaches 3 to 5 bellydance/bellyrobics classes and takes yoga and pilates with the other instructors. Her weight gain has been minimal but steady and normal, and I go with her to all the appointments and her doctors are very happy with her progress. She also hosts a program from Oh Baby Fitness (http://www.ohbabyfitness.com/) which specializes in pregnancy related fitness programs. Health mom's almost always have healthy babies.

sure. I exercised even as i grow to be pregnant. yet I had a hernia with my very last being pregnant earlier I were given pregnant so i did not workout with that being pregnant. I used to artwork at a bar were there have been 'dancers'. one in all them grow to be pregnant, she grow to be very in effective condition & quite & she had go away from her Dr., in written form, that reported that she might want to proceed any pastime that she grow to be able to doing earlier being pregnant, as a lot as her eighth month at which era she ought to apply caution using relaxing of the ligaments contained in the hips. I swear, i'm not kidding. She may even carry up-aspect-down on the pole jointly with her legs locked on the ankles! My aspect is even as you need to not commence to 'take up' new strenuous events even as your pregnant (say for worry of having fat with being pregnant) persevering with with your regime will actual help you to leap decrease back after delivery. i imagine the merely exception may be strolling or lite, or aqua aerobics. do not take my note as gospel although because I dont comprehend you or your health aspect. Dont hear to the phobia mongers both who will attempt to scare into not even bathing or having a quite spiced fowl sandwich, hear on your Dr. & ask their opinion of your regiment. also, you've stated the starvation increasing? that is your body's way of retaining your enter out placed ratio. keep to 6 SMALL foodstuff an afternoon. close to the appropriate of my pregnancies i might want to in no way devour more effective than small quantities: there merely wasn't room! it truly is going to also keep you on a good keel with your sound asleep & restroom conduct. in case you at the instantaneous are not positive the thanks to devour 6 situations an afternoon, merely make a regular breakfast plate for an energetic man or woman. Then divide each and each and every component in 0.5 onto yet another plate & devour it 2 hours later. same with lunch. do not deprive your self of nutrition, merely area them out. There are lady athletes who've written about their pregnant workouts... attempt to discover some on google. reliable success & congratulations.

Pilates and yoga are awesome for strengthening and toning during pregnancy.
Talk to your doctor about what limitations you may have with your individual pregnancy, and how frequently you should exercise.
