Noooo. Yahoo is a multi-billion dollar company. It's not going anywhere.
It may merge with a larger company...but it won't shut down.

Those chain mails are stupid.
Just ignore them. Don't forward them.
Also, if they where shutting down, why wouldn't we all get one from the Yahoo Manager. If you haven't notice yet, my friend tried signing up with the username: Y.Manager . It didn't work. So, that means there could be real usernames like that for yahoo managers and stuff. It wouldn't be true for your friends to send.
Next, if they were going to shut down, wouldn't they say it in the blog?
Another, They would probably not make Yahoo Answers. That would be a waste of time if their shutting down. Wella, i mean the new version. You know when they ran out of ink? or something. Then when we could ask, things changed"? Well, if they were going to shut down, their not gonna waste their time.
