Gargle with Hydrogen Peroxide 20vol it fights the bacteria out of ur mouth, then rinse with water! A burning sensation means GOOD!
Hydrogen peroxide is antiseptic/disinfectant, doctor recomended

Gargle with warm salt water. Drink honey lemon tea. The best thing I've ever done is gargle with yellow root. If you have access to that it's the best. Just don't swallow. It's the worst taste you could imagine.

I use that stuff you are supposed to take before getting onto an airplane. It sells at any pharmacy off the shelf and comes in a tube. You drop it in a glass of water. Works every time for me. Doesn't taste too bad.

If it's soaring, weight it down. That'll bring it back to earth.
If it's sore, try hot water & lemon juice or something soothing. Milk perhaps.
