No. It is completely sick. It makes it very easy to abuse the power they have.

It's not "minor" when you refuse to comply with an officer's request to step out of a vehicle that's being pulled over for speeding AND that the driver is talking on a freaking cell phone while driving! Had that dumb woman simply gotten out of the car, she would've gotten a ticket and not suffered the indignity of being shocked like cattle! Police have to protect themselves from the unknown. What if she been armed? As for the dog, it's PIT BULL! A breed known for violent, uncontrolled, agressive behaviour! Someone had been injured, the dog was still freaking out, running loose looking for another shot. If it had been me, I'd have shot that mutt in the skull! It was attacking people, running loose uncontrolled. What if it were rabid? You "rights" people really hack me off sometimes! What if this crap were happening to you? I guaran-damn-tee you you'd be screaming for justice or retribution in kind. Or in the case of the woman, if it had been you, you'd hopefully have the sense to comply with the officer.

Police Officers do not use tasers lightly. In training, they themselves are tasered as well as pepper sprayed, so they know full well the effects of these forms of restraint. Do not judge so quickly. Dogs, and women, for that matter can be dangerous. You are only seeing the end result, you do not know what led up to the event.
