He was kicked in the testicles when he was 12 while playing soccer. He didn't go to the doctor and spent 3 days unable to walk or move much because one of his testicles swelled up. He is convinced that because he was unable to make his last girlfriend pregnant after trying for only 8 months, that that makes him sterile. What are the odds?

The only way to know for sure is for him to get a semen analysis done. As far as his last girlfriend, there are many factors that determine whether pregnancy occurs or not, and typically a year or more of trying warrants a trip for both parties to get examined, and typically see a fertility specialist. He really needs to see his doctor to get tested.

Odds are pretty good, but only a doctor can determine that for sure. But since he is able to be aroused and ejaculate, it may simply be that he has a low sperm count
